Transfer Data to Pixel 4/4 XL
Transfer Data During Setup
- Turn ON your Google Pixel 4/4 XL.
- Tap on Start.
- If you have a sim, insert it now.
- Connect to Wifi or Mobile Network.
- Tap on Next.
- Turn ON your Android/iPhone and tap on Next on your Pixel 4/4 XL.
- Plug your old phone’s cable into the phone. Then tap Next on your Pixel.
- Plug the cable’s other end into the Quick Switch Adapter that came with your Pixel phone. And Plug the Quick Switch Adapter into your Pixel phone. Then tap Next on your Pixel.
- Ignore the next 3 steps if your old device is android.
- On your iPhone, tap Trust.
- On your Pixel phone, sign in to your Google Account. If you don’t have an account, follow the steps to create one. Then, tap Next.
- After reviewing the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, tap I agree.
- Ignore next step if your old device is an iPhone.
- On your old android phone, tap Copy. Then, follow the steps on the screen of your Pixel phone.
- You’ll get a list of your data. Uncheck the boxes next to the items you don’t want. Then, tap Copy.
- You’re all done. Now you can use your Pixel phone.
Transfer Data During After Setup
- Open Settings from Pixel launcher.
- At the top, tap Finish setup. Then tap on Start.
- You will get a Copy Screen, tap on Next.
- Turn on your old phone and unlock it. Then, tap Next on your Pixel.
- Plug your old phone’s cable into the phone. Then, tap Next on your Pixel.
- Plug the cable’s other end into the Quick Switch Adapter that came with your Pixel phone. And Plug the Quick Switch Adapter into your Pixel phone. Then tap Next on your Pixel.
- On your old phone, tap Copy. Then, follow the steps on the screen of your Pixel phone.
- You’ll get a list of your data. Uncheck the boxes next to the items you don’t want. Then, tap Copy.
- You’re all done. Now you can use your Pixel phone.
Transfer Data From a Backup
- Open Settings from Pixel launcher.
- At the top, tap Finish setup. Then tap on Start.
- Tap Can’t use old phone?
- When asked to restore data without your old phone, tap OK.
- Choose a backup.
- To decrypt your backup, tap Next.
- Enter your old phone’s passcode and tap Confirm.
- Follow the steps on the screen, and then tap Restore.
- You’re all done. Now you can use your Pixel phone.
