Charts or graphs in Google Sheets come with all sorts of customization and setup options. You can edit the graph entirely by making every little change that you want. By default, when you set up a chart in Google Sheets, based on the data selected, it automatically sets up a graph with some X-Axis and Y-Axis. But you can swap these chart axes if you want, and you can even use a different column to denote both the axes.

How to Switch Chart Axes in Google Sheets?
Firstly, open up the Sheets where you have the graph that you want to edit. Then click on the chart and then click on the three-dot icon at the top. From the list of options that show up, click on the “Edit the Chart” option. Alternatively, you can even right-click on the chart and then select the Data range option. This will open up the Chart Editor Menu on the right side. You can even double click on the chart directly, and even that will open up the Chart Editor Menu.
In the setup tab of the Chart Editor panel, you will find the options X-Axis and Series. The first column listed under the “X-Axis” is the X-axis of the chart, and the first column listed under the “Series” is the Y-Axis of the graph. Now to switch the chart axes, you will have to swap the columns listed under both the options.
Click on the column under the X-Axis, and it will show up a list of titles that you can set for your X-Axis. If you wish to set the title in the Y-Axis as the title for the X-Axis, then click on it from the drop-down list of options. Then under Series and X-Axis, you will have the same titles. So repeat this process for the Series option too. Click on the column below the Series and then choose the title you want to set for your Y-Axis.
