How To Report A User Account in TikTok?

Whenever you come across any abusive content or offensive content on TikTok, then it is better to report the account so that, TikTok can take some action against it. This is the least a user can do in order to stop the hatred or offense reach out to more people. Any video that a user thinks is displaying abusive behavior, posting insulting or racist videos or comments, or violating any of the Community Guidelines, then you should immediately report it.

Here is how you can report a profile or account in TikTok to let the app take some action against it:

  • Head over to the profile or account of the user you want to report.
  • Then, tap on the three dots icon for extra options.
  • Tap on the Report button.
  • Choose Report Account.
  • After that follow the on-screen instructions to describe what the problem is. You have the option to select between inappropriate content, false identity, intellectual property infringement, and so on.
  • Lastly, submit the report.

Once the report is submitted, TikTok will review if the report is legit or not and whether the person’s account which has been reported violates any guidelines of TikTok or not. If the user account is found guilty then, TikTok will either delete the profile or ban it from the social media platform.
